My passion for rare gemstones and mineral specimens led me to Brazil in 1991. I've lived here in Rio de Janeiro ever since. My second passion is photography. I enjoy capturing the beauty of the specimens I have collected in the natural daylight that flows into my home facing Flamingo Park. To answer a question so often asked by ebayers: Yes, that huge mineral specimen in the background of some of my photos is the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain. I love to communicate with collectors from around the world. So many have become my customers that I now have a full-time staff who have mastered the art of professional packing. Even the most delicate specimens arrive in perfect condition. We work exclusively with Federal Express. We're located at the corner of Barao do Flamingo and Praia do Flamingo, the former site of the historic Hotel Central, built about one hundred years ago.
